Telkom, Microsoft Tie Up In Telco Infrastructure Development

The state-owned telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) recently formed a partnership with Microsoft Indonesia. This collaboration is aimed at starting from the development of technology infrastructure to the development of human resources.

Based on the information disclosure submitted by the company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Tbk (TLKM), this collaboration was carried out with PT Microsoft Indonesia. The two have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on August 19, 2021.

This collaboration will be carried out in the fields of intelligent infrastructure development, digital talent development, and acceleration of TelkomGroup digital transformation.

This is in line with the transformation steps that are being carried out by the company to become a digital telecommunications company (digital telco).

"This partnership through collaboration and collaboration with the world's big technology companies (tech giants) is one of Telkom's strategies, which is expected to accelerate the digital transformation process, as well as support the empowerment of Indonesia's digital economy," said the disclosure, quoted Monday (23/8/ 2021).

This collaboration is expected to strengthen Telkom's competence and capability in providing various digital services, digital platforms, and digital connectivity.
