Microsoft Introduces New Boss for Indonesia

Microsoft Indonesia has a new boss. Microsoft announced the appointment of Dharma Simorangkir as the new President Director for operations in Indonesia. Dharma brings 20 years of business experience and industry knowledge.

He encourages the growth and acceleration of Indonesia's digital transformation, developers and startup ecosystems, enterprise businesses, small and medium enterprises, the public sector, and the crucial vertical industrial sector.

Previously, Dharma served as Senior Vice President of Telkomsel and managed the enterprise business. During his tenure, Dharma managed to grow the business by focusing on customer needs. And carry out organizational transformation by building a team mindset.

Prior to Telkomsel, Dharma held leadership positions at Honeywell, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks, Huawei. He helped build a mobile digital start-up.

At Microsoft, Dharma will be responsible for accelerating Indonesia's digital transformation through cloud adoption. Helping businesses in Indonesia to build their digital resilience and skills. Ssmbil continues to face the pandemic, and empowers companies and start-ups with the means to develop innovation.

Microsoft Asia Pacific President, Andrea Della Mattea said, “Dharma brings extensive experience, knowledge and deep understanding to building successful teams.

Dharma graduated from Brawijaya University with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. And has a Master of Business Administration from IPMI International Business School.
